About

For years I enjoyed the smell of fresh film and the satisfying click of the shutter with my 1978 Pentax ME-F. In 2004 I made the switch to a Nikon D70 digital SLR and then a D300 in 2008, and now shoot primarily with a D700 and a Sony a7 SII. While I can’t smell the film, I still get the click plus the freedom of digital.

I mostly do photography for my own pleasure, but I also think that photography is almost pointless if you don’t share it with others. For me, photography is usually about getting out in nature, looking for a different perspective, enjoying the beauty of God’s creation, and then sharing my discoveries with others.

I hope you enjoy viewing these photographs as much as I had in taking them. I welcome your comments, so please
